Installation of our New Principal:
Mrs. Kiza Felix-Roberts

On Friday 30th January, 2026, Mrs. Kiza Felix-Roberts was officially installed as the Principal of Fyzabad Anglican Secondary School. A Blessing was officiated by Father Aaron Charles, Chairman of Fyzabad Anglican Secondary School.
Mrs. Felix-Roberts was formally introduced to the staff and students as the new Principal by SS3, Mr. Soren Bijarem. Also in attendance were the PTA President and members of the FASS Board.
Mrs. Kiza Felix-Roberts is a wife and a mother of two lovely daughters. She has been an educator for almost twenty years. She is the first official Principal of FASS in approximately ten years.
The FASS family warmly welcomes Mrs. Kiza Felix-Roberts as Principal. FASS looks forward to the continued success of the school as one of the best secondary schools in Trinidad and Tobago.

🏫 Learning without limits: A laptop for every child 💻
Monday 12th January 2026
Form 1 students of Fyzabad Anglican Secondary School received their new devices today.
These devices will be equipped with an AI-teaching assistant designed to support students throughout their time at secondary school.
Laptop distribution will continue in the coming weeks. Parents will receive updates from their child’s school principal. Let’s continue working together to ensure all students are equipped to thrive in a digital world.

Drama Festival 2025The Fyzabad Interaction Drama Group performed an Original Script "Le Kapok" written by Teshell Diaz and Mischa Ruben. They received prizes for Costume Design, Most Promising Actor: Aidan Nathaniel, Most Promising and Supporting Actress: Mischa Ruben and Most Outstanding Actress: Teshell Diaz. It was a historical moment for group since it was the first time the school participated in the SSDA Drama Festival finals. The new drama group name was formed by Ms. Hamilton. The re-branding of the group began in 2014. Past Presidents were Kenesha Bermudez, Brandon Collins, Mekeisha Martin, Joshua Sylvester, Phillip Diaz and Vice President, Teshell Diaz. Our current President is Venessa Chidick.
Previous Drama Festival Awardees from our school between 2011-2018 were Most Promising Actor: Kereece Smart for "The Stickfighter" written by Judy Samuel Boatswain and Most Promising Actor: Brandon Collins for "The Reunion", an adaptation of "Ol' Storytime" by Trevor Rhone. Drama Festival 2024The Fyzabad Interaction Drama Company participated in the Finals of the Secondary Schools' Drama Festival on November 14th 2024.
It was the first time that school participated in the Finals between the period of 2011-2024. The play entitled 'Le Kapok' was written by Teshell Diaz and Mischa Ruben (the Form 5 CCEC Theatre Arts students). The following certificates were awarded to our school: Certificate of Participation Certificate for Best Ensemble Certificate for Best Costume Design Production Certificate for Most Promising Actor awarded to Aidan Nathaniel Certificate for Supporting Actress awarded Mischa Ruben Certificate for Outstanding Actress awarded to Teshell Diaz |
